The NCRAR disseminates information to professionals and to the lay public, both within the VA Medical system and externally. The NCRAR Education Program is structured to: (1) ensure that the research findings of the NCRAR transfer rapidly from the laboratory to clinical care; (2) reach a wide spectrum of veterans, including those not currently utilizing VA facilities; (3) collaborate with community organizations that serve the non-veteran hearing impaired population, and (4) provide education and training of healthcare professionals.
