Dr. Schechter provides full time daily direct clinical care to patients and has done so since 1980. He has developed special insight and experience working with clients suffering from severe tinnitus. He consistently participates in the tinnitus support group offered at the Portland VA Medical Center. He is responsible for providing tinnitus treatment for one-half of the clinical sample in the current NCRAR "TRT vs. Tinnitus Masking" grant, of which Dr. Henry is the Principal Investigator.
