Dr. Ren will continue to participate in research areas related to otoacoustic emissions and their application to clinical diagnoses of hearing disorders. Dr. Ren's specialty focus area of research is cochlear microcirculation and cochlear mechanics. He also is a former Fellow of the World Health Organization and Research Investigator of the Kresge Hearing Research Institute in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
