Administrative Officer and Speech-Language Pathologist, NCRAR, PVAMC. Mr. Helt is instrumental in the establishment, implementation and oversight of the Center's organizational, operational and administrative activities. He is responsible for personnel actions, space issues, equipment resource needs, evaluating Center activities and preparing annual reports. He serves as a direct liaison to the Director in developing and communicating the Center's direction, policies and procedures, and assists Dr. Fausti in handling major administrative issues that require effective working relationships with the hospital's top management team at the Portland VAMC. He assists the Director in all phases of budget preparation, implementation, tracking and overall management.
